Yesterday, November 6th, we celebrated our Fall Festival.
It was a special event designed to highlight this beautiful season of year, bright with the colors and themes of fall.
Parents and teachers joined in on the fun.
Games and activities for students of all ages, learning, laughing and making memories.
Playing pin-the-face-on-the-pumpkin with our eyes blindfolded.
Mining for chestnuts hidden deep in popcorn baskets.
Playing Harvest Bingo and learning fall words such as apples, colored leaves, baskets, scarecrows, and pumpkins.
Making pomander balls with bright-colored oranges and cloves, delighting our senses!
Carving happy faces in pumpkins, taking out the “yuckies” by hand and lighting the inside with a candle.
We celebrated the beauty of God’s creation, and we thanked him for his goodness towards us.
We concluded our Fall Festival with a cake-walk, but we ate cookies instead!
It was a very special day, full of laughter and fun for everyone.
Thank you, LIFE students and parents, for helping us celebrate our Fall Festival.
Enjoy the pictures and video!
