It’s hard to move abroad, let alone to move your family abroad. Hi! I’m Meg, a mom to two kids in grades 5th and 3rd here at LIFE and Logan’s wife. When the Lord laid on our hearts the decision to move abroad from the United States to Spain, we knew there were big changes in store for us. We have always been up for a travel adventure as a family, but navigating the life changes that would come from an international move seemed even more grand.

We ended up moving to Madrid and joining the LIFE family in late September of 2023. Immediately upon arrival, all four of us felt at home at LIFE. Our boys, being one of the very few American students in the classroom, felt welcomed and love. Slowly over time, classroom relationships became friendships and Logan and I feel so grateful for how well the boys have acclimated.

For Logan and myself, we got to interact with the teachers and staff at LIFE daily as we chose to take a service gap year this year and serve at the school. We were immediately impressed by the friendliness of all staff and how welcome we felt at LIFE. It is very true to say that LIFE is not just a school, it’s a family.

If you are considering a move abroad and looking for a school family in Madrid that will welcome you with open arms, we highly recommend LIFE International School. Loving your neighbor is a theme that we’ve seen play out without doubt at LIFE. During the month of February and this month of love, I wanted to make sure to express our gratitude to the staff at LIFE.
